Grow Room Setup and Plant Strains
So I wanted to describe my current setup, as I am in the middle of a grow right now. I have four plants. Three of these are in 5 gallon nursery pots. One of the plants is in a 3 gallon planter. I'm growing in soil and using foxfarms nutrients. The oldest and largest of the group is an autoflowering NYC Sour Diesel plant which is one week into flowering. It measures 24" tall and is about 4 weeks from harvest. I then have three feminized plants and two are of a strain called Big Foot by Sweet Seeds. A 50/50 split, its half Indica and half Sativa. The other plant is a feminized Canuk Cookies by a company called Canuk Seeds. All three of these plants are in the vegetative stage, the tallest being Big Foot at 12" tall. I have just topped both Big Foot plants for the second time, and topped Canuk Cookies for the first and only time. These are under A fluorescent light fixture, 2 collared 100 watt soft white bulbs, and a 300 Watt self cooled LED lighting fixture. I am doing a true closet grow, and the interior is lined with mylar. I hope to switch to flowering in 2-3 weeks. My next post will contain some photos of the set up and of the plants as well.

Hey guys
Just wanted to say hello and take a moment to welcome you to my blog. I am a regular Marijuana smoker, living in the newly legalized state of Massachusetts. I make edibles, and smoke both medically and recreationally. Recently I began a legal and fairly small (4-6 plant) grow in my home. I am passionate about Marijuana and its legitimate medical uses. Being a fairly new grower, there is a lot to learn, and I would like to invite you to come along and learn with me. There are going to be some grow journals posted, and some experiments to do with different techniques of growing. I will be taking final weights of each harvest along with links to where I purchased each strain. Also, I will be doing products reviews and or recommendations. Since edibles have been much more readily available, and a favorite of mine, Ill be trying different recipes and posting any keepers. With all of the extra products to make from plant trim, there will be different how-to sections and strain reviews as well. So welcome to my blog, spark one up and enjoy!
